1960s - STARTUP Mr. Jim Fiala starts cleaning a small office building at night, out of the back of his 1956 Buick, to help supplement his growing family"s income.

1961 A local newspaper article showcases Jim Fiala and Marty Flannery while working at the Clean-Tech Company home office.
1963 Mr. Fiala founds Clean-Tech Company.
1969 Maritz is Clean-Tech’s first client.
1974 Mr. Fiala founds Witt Fiala Flannery & Associates.
1979 Mr. Fiala founds CareTech specializing in hospital cleaning.
1980s Employees gather for the annual Clean-Tech Directors Managers Conference in St. Louis.
2005 Mr. Jonathan Campbell takes over as President of Clean-Tech Company.
2008 Clean-Tech moves into its current locations on Jefferson Avenue in St. Louis.
2013 Clean-Tech celebrates 50 years in business.
2020 Clean-Tech joins forces with HES Facilities Management.
Building A Legacy

Clean-Tech Company was formed in 1963 to provide specialized cleaning and maintenance of major corporate headquarters, office buildings, medical facilities, public and educational institutions.  The very first cash log in November of 1963 shows the company was founded with a $2,000 investment.
